Looking at Script Editor


The Script Editor (or Macro Editor) is a tool for creating, editing, debugging a macro. To open the editor, in Macro Manager, you select a macro, then click the button Edit Macro.

The following illustration shows you what the Macro Script Editor looks like.

The work area of Macro Editor has three principal areas.

Actions list

The actions tree lists all of available actions, and you can double-click an action to insert a step into the script.

Bottom pane

It's composed of three tabs, Play log, User Variables, and Global Variables.

Steps list

It displays all actions in the macro.
